Iridescent Soars

I thought I would draw my OC once again, as she recently entered the RP I participate in; she's grown a bit and isn't the same filly she was; without further ado I present; Iridescent;

Her mane is an absolute nightmare to draw, between the iridescent streak to the split ends and ratty layout it took 3/4ths of the time alone, the pose was also difficult in that her wings are angled awkwardly making them interesting to shade.

I have to thank for streaming and really showing me how to make hair look messy and for encouraging me to bring this character back to life

Iridescent

Iridescent is a Pegasus Pony with a mane so tangled and tattered it takes a miracle to make it look nice; as you can see on the rare occasion above. Her name comes from the streak of iridescent silver that runs through her mane. She always has a wrap around her right foreleg, and occasionally wears a wing-guard. She has a slight Scottish accent, and can be a bit direct when talking.

She loves to fly more than anything else, and takes pride in her agility in the air, but it gets her hurt more than a few times when she plays chicken with the ground. She loves flying creatures and if it has wings chances are she's oogling over them. She's been eaten a few times for her curiosity and made many friends with birds and other flying critters, in particular is a massive black bird that while isn't her pet stays around her and she eventually started calling Nue, and became best friends. She likes to teach things how to fly and wears the aforementioned guards to protect her from getting battered too much.

While she is great with flying creatures, her skills with ponies are less so, often insulting them without really meaning to, getting impatient quickly and always one to get in a fight. Even though she gets in many, she has no combat expertise and can't hold her own. That doesn't mean she doesn't get back up however; even when the situations hopeless, her pride picks her back up to take the next hit.

Her cutie mark is a burning Phoenix feather and you can often find her with burnt hair, scratches, and a menagerie of other small injuries; she's always a bit cynical if you ever ask why they are there.

Overall; Blunt, abrasive, kind, curious, loud, honor-bound, and fun loving.
